His rhythmically centered music for percussion and dance dates from the 1980s and 1990s, and is the product of his collaboration with the Kroumata percussion ensemble and with late choreographer and dancer Per Jonsson. His work with Jonsson resulted in six ballets, including the successful Den elfte gryningen (The Eleventh Dawn, 1988).
